Once again, another great cloth diaper review! I love reviewing different kinds of cloth diapers and JudysLilQuiltFix has just that as well as many other awesome products!

About The Designer:

I’m Judy. I live in PA. Dutch Country..that when it calls for rain, we get snow. Which is fine with me because I like to ski. I have 3 kids and 6 grandkids, but I’m not that old. I just was blessed with 3 last year all within 7 months. I enjoy sewing. I love dewing anything from making quilts to diapers, which my won wanted when they had their little boy this past December, so that is how it all started. I have always loved to do crafts, sew, etc. I am not one for sitting around and doing nothing, unless I’m sick, which then my daughter knows I’m sick because I don’t lay around on the sofa! Besides sewing I’m organist at 2 church’s and my parents have an orchard which I help full time, plus more, but being outside is fine with me. I have been doing crafts since I was little. My mom taught me how to sew, crochet, I use the band saw, paint, etc., but I don’t do floral arrangements. We don’t get along to well. I also love to bake, but they say never trust a skinny cook. I guess you can say, I’m always busy and just can’t sit still and do nothing..that would make me looney!

I also make pillowcases for Lehigh Valley and Hershey Ped Units (in my spare time haha), but putting a smile on a child’s face makes it worth it. We have made 612 since February of this year and over 400 last year because every child goes home with one every time they’re admitted. I have also applied for a grant thru Pepsi, so please check out www.refresheverything.com website and see if my project was picked. It will have on it: “Put smiles on kids faces at LV Ped Unit by buying material to make pillowcases”. I need all the votes I can get during the month of July. If Pepsi accepted it, its non-profit and would mean a lot to me and also a lot of smiles will be given at what could be the hardest point of fighting that nasty beast of “cancer”. My niece just beat a neoblasphoma cancer that she fought this past year, but was given a clean bill of health right before Easter, so its called: “The Olivia and Alayna Pillowcase Project”. Thanks!!

The Review:

I received a Dry Bunz Pocket Diaper to review from JudysLilQuiltFix.  The pocket diaper was a bit different than I expected, but only because its somewhat like an AI2 with pockets on each side to put an insert inside. I used two prefolds doubled up as my inserts. The pocket parts are really soft and I’m sure feel great on baby’s bum. The diaper I got for Noah was blue with cars on it and super soft. I really liked the fit of the diaper on Noah. It was nice and snug around the legs but not too snug and it had a good rise too so he didn’t leak from the top.  I haven’t had any leaks with this diaper and that is always a huge plus! Everything is held inside well, event the poo! If you are looking for an easy to use diaper that works well, a Dry Bunz Pocket Diaper might be just want you want!!
