I have to tell you, I have fallen in love with my husband all over again! We had time to have REAL conversations without being interrupted, we had time to cuddle alone, we had time to laugh and flirt and act like the couple we were and are!! It was so nice and so amazing! I love that man so much and a good reminder of that is always a wonderful thing!
So moms and dads, if its not already a goal or resolution for the new year, I say make it a goal to spend more alone time with your significant other! It does so much for your relationship with each other and even your relationship with your children! It will bring you all closer as a family and hopefully, like I got to this weekend, you'll get the chance to fall in love all over again! <3

Alone time is always awesome!
Oh I am soo happy for you guys that you were able to spend that time together! I also found even a date night to dinner and a movie is nice too! We plan on spending some couple time alone at least once or twice a month in the new year!
I know that feeling of falling in love all over again. My husband when back home to West Africa for 2 weeks over the holidays. I also fell in love with him all over again when he came back home. I have a new found appreciation for him, now that I know what it's like to not have him. The saying that distance can make the heart grow fonder is so true.
I hope you are able to schedule alone time for yourselves this year too!

Alone time is a must! I miss having time with my hubby. We use to be able to have regular dates, but our babysitter is no longer so now we don't get that time anymore.
ooh I am jealous! I was a wife for FIVE years before becoming a mommy... and I have to say I super duper miss that alone time. I think I need to plan for baby to have a little sleepover at Grandma's soon! :) hee hee! But he's not even a YEAR yet so.... I am not sure!! :) So hard to let go! :)
